El Faro Hotel & Spa

We are a couple traveling, and we were looking for peace and tranquility. We found it in abundance at this magnificent hotel, perched on the cliffs overlooking the beautiful Porto Conte Bay near Alghero. The staff was pleasant, kind, and always in the right place at the right time. We really enjoyed the breakfasts, and we appreciated the calm atmosphere. The sun loungers on the beach are arranged in such a way that it feels like it’s just you and nature — as if you are completely alone in the world. That creates an incredible sense of serenity and peace. There were very few guests with children, and the hotel was quiet and calm. If you value a peaceful getaway, if you appreciate natural beauty and calm surroundings, and if you want a true escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, then this hotel is a perfect choice. The value for money is excellent. The rooms aren’t overly luxurious, but they have everything you need. So we wholeheartedly recommend this place. If we ever return to Sardinia, this will be the first hotel we consider staying at again. The hotel is located in a beautiful place, the view is amazing. They are very strict with the cleanliness, all is impecable. The room was cleaned every day, towels changed. The relaxation areas are very numerous. Heatead pool. Room and bathroom dimension very generous.

The sea view from the bedroom balcony was spectacular. The location was about 25 minutes from the main city Alghero which we had to get taxis to and from, and it was about 15min from the airport. The room was nice, spacious with great wardrobes.

I had a great room , big patio and view. The rooms are outdated furniture-wise but comfortable. Great breakfast, beautiful spot. wonderful outdoor areas with chaises, large saltwater pool for laps . Wonderful places to lounge around and a good bar.

Everything about this resort is stunning - the staff, the amenities, the rooms, all of it. The food was excellent and we loved the breakfast. The resort is about a 15 min drive from Alghero which was a great area to spend for a few hours. The resort is also situated right on the water in what appears to be a cove so the water never got too rough during our stay. We loved snorkeling and taking advantage of the kayaks. The views are breathtaking.
